# How to Apply for the Prime Visa or Amazon Visa

You can apply for the Prime Visa or Amazon Visa directly through the official Amazon page. The application is online, and if approved you will receive a welcome Amazon Gift Card loaded into your Amazon Gift Card balance. This page walks you through the steps and what to expect next.

    Go to [amazon.com/myprimevisa](https://www.amazon.com/myprimevisa). Make sure you are signed in to the Amazon account where you want the card linked.

  <Step title="Review the current offer and terms">
    Read the welcome offer, earning rates, and Pricing & Terms. Offers change, so confirm the current gift card amount and APR before you apply.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit your application">
    Fill out the application with your personal and financial information, then submit. Chase will review your information and provide a decision.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Receive your decision">
    Many applicants receive a decision within minutes. If additional review is needed, Chase may notify you by mail or email.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get your welcome gift card">
    If approved, an Amazon Gift Card will be loaded into your Amazon Gift Card balance automatically. Current offers are $150 for Prime members and $50 for non-Prime Amazon Visa applicants, but these can change.

  <Step title="Wait for your card to arrive">
    Your physical card will arrive by mail. You can usually add the card to your Amazon Wallet right away for online purchases.

## After you are approved

* Add your new card to your Amazon account so you can start earning rewards on purchases.
* Enroll in Shop with Points at Amazon checkout (this usually happens automatically when the card is in your Amazon Wallet).
* Set up account alerts and autopay by signing in to [chase.com/amazon](https://www.chase.com/amazon) or the Chase Mobile app.
